This song pretty much sums up how Hong Kong felt like.

There are so many things to love about Hong Kong. There’s a grittiness to it that makes it attractive. You’ve got the streets lined with super high end designer brands, and a few blocks away you’ve got stalls selling bike parts and bra cups.

But there is nothing like Hong Kong at night.
The lights, the people always in a hurry to get to somewhere. Winter had just ended when i arrived last week, and the weather was perfectly chilly. A leather jacket, a soft scarf and lots of walking was enough to warm you up.

My favorite area was Lam Kwai Fong, a section in Central district filled with bars and people looking for a great night out.
Since drinks were expensive, people would buy a few from 711 and load up just outside, milling about and filling the street with laughter, conversation, dancing and eyes meeting. Some winking may take place as well.
I wouldn’t mind going back to this really soon. And the moment i can, i’ll take my leather jacket, my soft scarf,
and great company 🙂
