Early Saturday morning, Niki woke me up and told me that he was taking us on a quick surprise trip. He asked us to put on something comfortable since we’ll be walking around, and I happily obliged because who doesn’t like surprise trips?!

After a quick breakfast, we were on our way! When we got to Roxas Boulevard, I had an inkling of where we were gonna go, but I didn’t want to ruin his surprise so I didn’t say anything. Was very happy to see the museum come into view and my suspicions confirmed! Yay! Were finally gonna see the yet-unfinished but already so lovely National Museum of Natural History!

I put together a little video of our trip, you can check it out below. There aren’t a lot of exhibits open yet, but it was nice to see the public already so interested in it. Here’s a few tips for those who are planning to go see it:

  1. The museum only has street parking for now, so there aren’t a lot of slots available. We were there on a Saturday morning so as expected, it was full. We decided to park at Manila Doctors Hospital instead, which is just across and not too far of a walk.
  2. I don’t know if it’s the same for weekdays, but the regular entrance was super full of people on a Saturday. But since we had Elon with us, we lined up at the entrance for PWDs, pregnant women, and people with kids, and it was easy breezy. It’s free for everyone, by the way!
  3. Wear something comfortable and light! You’ll be doing a lot of walking.
  4. You need to surrender your bags. So keep your valuables on your person!

That’s it! Hope you enjoy the video! 🙂

I’m Kris

Wife to an amazing man and mother to two crazy kids I would burn the whole world down for. I love to write, and so I write. I also love to draw, but I’m not very good at it. I do real estate and own a business. It’s a lot. And it’s a mess, sorry I didn’t have time to fix up. Come in, but watch your step! There’s probably some spilled snacks on the floor. And some Legos. But that’s okay, the couch is cozy and the coffee is hot. Let’s make chika!
